New Entrants
- Our lone entrant this week comes from the Jonas Brothers in the form of Sucker, debuting at a sky high #7. This surpasses the summit made by Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe several years back. I definitely like the vocals within this is the unique beat makes this better. I never really liked this at first but it just took some time and this is definitely one of the better end songs this week. This definitely has some potential over the next few weeks to reach the top spot so I would love to see this hit the top spot. This clearly dominates two songs that need to get out of the Top 5. Overall, this song is quite good and has the capacity to enter the Top 5 in the next few weeks.
No HitBound for now.
A Little Blurbs, I Hope You Can Show Me
- Hey Look Ma, I Made It holds its top position this week. I'm quite happy with this as this is definitely a better scenario for #1 this week. I would love to see Sucker, Let Me Down Slowly, or Sweet but Psycho make it on top but this is also a good choice for top hit. Time will tell.
- I don't know who keeps voting for Happier. Whoever is, stop it. I'm losing interest and we don't need this song to be Lights Down Low. And before Ninja asks, the Fortnite concert never made it better. it just made this become more popular and made it even more torturing to hear.
- One of what might be the more surprising opinions will be on Let Me Down Slowly. I feel this song has a nice meaning but not the best vocals. What it lacks in the production makes up for. It's very simple and clear in the music. This is most certainly better than most of Alec Benjamin's tracks so it stands out and I feel it deserves the top very soon. This could potentially grow out but it will take a lot of time. If you want an honest review for another song, let me know and I'll reply as swiftly as possible.
- Tequila is slowly going on what seems like a decline. This song has been long enjoyed and loved and it's sad to see it's slowly fading away. Flash back to last year and how Lights Down Low held out for a year unexpectedly. If this could pull off something similar to it, this would definitely be able to be something on this chart.
- It seems that Tell Me It's Over will be leaving soon. F in the chat, hopefully this great song can hold out for a few extra weeks before leaving. This song never got the respect it deserved and it had so much potential to become big.
- It's awesome to see that The Way I Am is being reduced to the Bottom 5. This song never deserved to become a hit in the first place and it needs to go soon. I know Charlie Puth can do so much better but he doesn't show it here.
- As far as the exits go, Sicko Mode was good and deserved much more on this radio. But because this is a "family-friendly" channel (I quote it because we have 7 Rings, Thank U, Next, etc.), this never really got anywhere. It blew up on other channels and it's not exactly nice to see it wasn't much of a hit on this channel.
